Request Portal

Designed for the citizen and customer, VUEWorks Request Portal provides an efficient way to shift traditional counter services that normally arrive through phone, fax, or email by using the Web. This service provides an easy and convenient online access to contact your agency concerning public issues and requests. Citizens and customers can choose a self service option to place a request using the same workflow available to your departments.

Request can be organized by pull down menus or keyword searches. And a location along with a description can be added to provide the information that is fitting to the service request asked. Now citizens and customers can provide the details needed to properly notify your departments.

The VUEWorks Request Portal uses web services to interface directly to the VUEWorks Service Call. Therefore, no third party database or VUEWorks database customization is required. Once the citizen request is submitted online, it is automatically saved to the Service Call database where a VUEWorks user can manage the request as they would any other Service Call.

At any time citizens and customers can view the status of their request by returning to the portal and entering the Service Request ID. Searching your knowledge base, citizens can quickly find information without having to call, reducing the burden on your call agents or front office personnel. Other searches to expedite answers to your citizen’s questions are also available.
